It is hard to put our experience with Amy into one review. From the very beginning, she exceeded every expectation and made the process more meaningful, organized, and enjoyable than we ever imagined.
We booked Amy 18 months before our wedding, and from the start, we knew she was the perfect planner for us. While she came highly recommended as a preferred planner for Black Oak Mountain Vineyards, it was after watching her interview with Steve Buzzard, our DJ and another preferred vendor, that we were completely sold. Her professionalism, warmth, and deep understanding of the wedding industry shined, and we instantly knew she was the one to bring our vision to life.
From day one, Amy guided us with clarity and organization. She provided detailed timelines, checklists, and vendor recommendations, keeping us on track. Every meeting was purposeful, and she always came prepared with an agenda and next steps, which we deeply appreciated as a Type A couple. Her attention to detail mirrored our own and made the experience smooth and stress free.
Our wedding style was coastal yet vineyard inspired, with a Restoration Hardware feel featuring neutral tones, natural textures, and timeless elegance. Amy completely understood our aesthetic and made it come alive. From the layout and furniture to the smallest design details, everything reflected our vision. In the days before the wedding, Amy’s family helped in wonderful ways, hanging lighting, solving problems, and ensuring everything came together beautifully. Amy is so talented at building, crafting, and creating. Her hands-on approach added a unique and personal touch to our celebration.

If you are questioning whether or not to hire a wedding planner, then this is your sign to choose Amy! She made our wedding flawless with how everything flowed and helped us in so many ways leading up to the wedding. She is extremely professional and has a very quick response time for any questions we had. She had solutions for everything as well as fun ideas we would have never thought up on our own (ask her about dance to dinner!). She helped us with our signage and decor by going out of her way to create table numbers, a seating chart, and a welcome sign, among other things. We thought we were organized, but Amy helped us to prepare for the wedding by having a detailed checklist, timeline, budget preparation, and vendor tracking. I believe Amy was the most valuable person on our vendor team because she always went above and beyond and was the only vendor willing to look out for us and ensure our day went how we wanted it to. Wedding planning is extremely overwhelming, but having Amy reduced our stress and fears significantly. The wedding industry can also be very fake, but Amy was genuine, kind, personable, and caring. We are so happy we chose Amy!

Where do I even begin? From the moment we had our first phone call with Amy, we knew she was the perfect fit for us. If you're on the fence about hiring a wedding planner because you don't think you need one, you're wrong, hire Amy! She is so organized, has a million great ideas and a solution to EVERY problem. In the last 2 months leading up to our wedding, I started to become a little nervous about all the little details coming together and began to second guess myself. Amy was there to answer ever question and concern my now HUSBAND and I had. She is so level-headed, has a calm demeanor when dealing with stressful situations (which is exactly the demeanor this Bride needed) and has this incredible ability to handle the unexpected with ease. She was ON IT with communicating with all of our vendors (there were several), reading through all the contracts and making sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. Now, for our wedding day... We were supposed to have beautiful weather, but a storm rolled in and we ended up with clouds and rain. Thankfully, our venue was indoor/outdoor. We planned to have the ceremony and cocktail hour outdoors, with the reception to follow inside. Amy gave us several Plan B options leading up to the day because there was a chance it would rain on us during our ceremony... and it did! But that's good luck, right? We were adamant about having our ceremony on the lawn area, outdoors because that was our vision. Amy had the brilliant idea of bringing clear umbrellas - enough for our guests to huddle under and share and one for us, that didn't distract or take away from our ceremony and actually made for some really cute pictures. While the rain / gloomy weather weren't a part of our original plan, it didn't ruin or take away from our day at all like I thought it might. Being a Type A bride, I had to take a few minutes to step aside after the ceremony, during cocktail hour that we had to cram inside, but with Amy & my husband's help, I got over it and we truly had the BEST day. We couldn't have asked for a better Wedding Planner. We have gotten numerous compliments not only about our beautiful wedding and all the intricate details, but also about AMY. People were in awe of how well she handled everything in the background while we were all eating, drinking, dancing and enjoying. To say that Amy not only made our day run so smoothly, but also saved it, is the UNDERSTATEMENT of the century. We would have been completely lost without her. She made us feel like family and whatever we wanted, she made happen. Amy & her staff have our highest recommendation. Our wedding day will forever be engraved in our minds. Amy was the best decision I made on my wedding day (apart from the groom of course ;). I have been in the wedding industry for many years as a wedding photographer and I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that I needed Amy by my side when my time came. Amy was the GREATEST wedding planner EVER! She was not only organized, helpful, professional, and knowledgeable, but her website and online checklists were Heaven sent.
